Pembroke School is seeking dynamic and dedicated individuals to join our team as casual Boarding House Assistants who are passionate about working with young people and fostering a supportive, vibrant community.

Pembroke School is a co-educational, non-denominational, day and boarding School from Early Learning Centre to Year 12. Renowned for academic excellence and a broad, inclusive program, Pembroke offers the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) and is also an International Baccalaureate World School, offering the IB Diploma Programme (IBDP) and Primary Years Programme (PYP).

About the Role
As a Boarding House Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the supervision and pastoral care of our boarders from Years 7 to 12. Your responsibilities will include providing academic support, supervising day-to-day activities, and promoting a positive and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Ensure the well-being and safety of boarders during their daily routines, including meals, study time, and co-curricular activities.
- Assist students with their homework and assignments, fostering their academic growth without diminishing their personal responsibility.
- Uphold and instil the school’s values and standards of behaviour, serving as an exemplary role model for students.
- Maintain effective communication with staff, students, and parents to support each boarder’s development.
- Contribute to the holistic development of students, including their social, emotional, and physical well-being.
- Adhere to workplace health and safety practices, ensuring a safe environment for all.
