Important Notice – Evidence Required Prior to Commencement

The paramount responsibility of all staff at Pembroke School is the safety and well-being of our students. The School expects a high standard of professional commitment in all aspects of employment, as outlined in our Staff Code of Conduct.

All successfully appointed candidates must provide the required evidence of certifications, clearances, and qualifications prior to commencing in any role.

Commencement is contingent upon meeting the prescribed conditions of employment, including the timely provision of all required documentation and evidence. Where these conditions are not met, the offer of employment may be delayed or withdrawn.


All successfully appointed candidates will be required to provide evidence of the following:


All student-facing staff – including but not limited to teachers, classroom support, outdoor education*, and sporting staff – must also hold:

  • CPR Certification (HLTAID009)
  • First Aid Certification (HLTAID010 and HLTAID012)

*Outdoor Education staff are required to obtain a higher level of First Aid certification, such as Provide Advanced First Aid or Provide First Aid in Remote or Isolated Sites.


Additional requirements may apply, depending on the Job and Person Specification for the advertised position.

This may include evidence of:

  • Qualifications and/or other formal training
  • Memberships to professional or clinical governing bodies
  • Registration with professional practice boards or regulatory authorities
