About the Role
The Head of Volleyball will lead the strategic direction, planning, and daily operations of volleyball at Pembroke. Working collaboratively with the Heads of Sport and a team of dedicated coaches, this position will ensure a cohesive, safe, and inspiring experience for all players.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Providing strategic and operational leadership of the Volleyball Programme
- Designing and refining a whole-school coaching and training framework
- Recruiting, mentoring, and developing a team of skilled coaches and umpires
- Coordinating fixtures, tournaments, and camps with precision and care
- Promoting inclusive participation and pathways for representative performance
- Managing budgets, resources, and communications with key stakeholders
About You
You are an experienced and visionary sports professional who thrives on leading people and shaping programmes that inspire growth and enjoyment. You demonstrate exceptional communication, planning, and leadership skills, and bring a passion for developing both players and coaches.
You will bring:
- Relevant qualifications in sport, physical education, or human movement
- Accreditation with Volleyball SA, Volleyball Australia, or equivalent
- Demonstrated experience leading school or club-level volleyball programmes
- Strong organisational, communication, and team leadership capabilities
- Proven ability to build positive relationships across diverse stakeholders
- A proactive and reflective approach to continuous improvement
