Pembroke School is seeking an experienced and passionate Head of Netball to lead and continue developing our comprehensive netball program across the Junior, Middle, and Senior Schools. This role is pivotal in fostering a dynamic, inclusive, and high-quality netball environment that encourages student participation, skill development, and a lifelong appreciation for the sport.
This position may suit a teacher or a professional services staff member, with a flexible structure and generous allowance to support the demands of the role.

Job Description
About the Role
The Head of Netball will play a strategic role in shaping the sport’s presence at Pembroke, blending leadership, innovation, and community engagement to create a program that’s as rewarding as it is respected. This is a unique opportunity to influence sporting culture and drive excellence in one of South Australia’s leading co-educational schools.
In this role, you can expect to:
Develop and implement a coherent coaching and training program for all year levels, providing clear pathways for student progression.
Collaborate with Heads of Sport and Junior School Coordinators to align the netball program with the School’s aims and values.
Recruit, mentor, and support netball coaches, ensuring consistent delivery of coaching philosophies and objectives.
Coordinate logistics for practices, matches, and events, maintaining effective communication with all stakeholders.
Promote co-educational opportunities in netball and ensure a fun, safe, and inclusive environment for all participants.
Engage with parents and the wider community to support and enhance the netball program.
Registered teacher (or eligible for registration) with the TRB in South Australia if undertaking the role in a teaching capacity, or a suitably qualified and accredited netball coach with relevant experience.
Demonstrated experience in netball coaching, player development, and team management.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build respectful relationships with students, staff, and families.
Proven organisational skills, including experience in managing budgets, logistics, and program planning.
Commitment to continuous professional development and fostering the growth of colleagues.
